For all of youse that are tired of the 20XX Triumph Mystery Cruiser (aka Thuderbird) debate...

Look, the styling of the Victory Vision is a love it or hate it proposition. But after hearing the great reviews of the Vision we finally got a chance to ride one 2-up.

On Saturday my wife & I had a chance to be some of the first to test ride a 2009 Victory Vision at our dealer's demo day. We already own a 2006 Vegas and 2008 Kingpin, and previoulsy owned a 2006 Kingpin. We are thoroughly pleased with the Victory motorcycles in every way.

We had heard a lot of positive reports from owners and riders of the Vision and I can assure you, this bike is excellent. For a heavy bike, it is very easy to handle, even at low speeds. It takes turns effortlessly. The linked braking system stops the bike quickly and safely. The power of the 106 inch motor is superb and smooth. The rider ergonomics are slighly more upright than the Kingpin but are made for long-distance rides. The seat comfort is exceptional. The list of extra touches and comfort items is too long to list and should be experienced first hand.

Bottom line, even with 2 Victory motorcycles already in the garage, my wife's response summed it up. Before she even got off the bike, she said, "We're getting one of these!"

If you're in the market for a long-distance cruiser or touring bike, give the Vision a test ride. This motorcycle is first class all the way.
