I also changed out the original shifter pegs to the Kuryakyn Retro shifter pegs to complete the look. These pegs mount with a bolt through the back of the shifter arm, so you have to drill out the original threads with a 7/16"th drill to let the bolt pass through. Add some locktite.

So, I've completed my search for the perfect highway pegs and I'm happy with my choice. This is strictly my opinion. I hope this thread will encourage others to explain and illustrate their choice of highway pegs, so we all can make an informed choice. Don
