We're in Endicott (west of Binghamton), in the shadows of the crumbling IBM empire. Actually, it's not so bad- I'm working for one of the two defense contractors who seem to be keeping this region afloat. Now Canandaigua is certainly far more picturesque, but ya gotta go where the work is...
Lake Cayuga is about 45 minutes, so the Finger Lakes are are a short scoot away.
Not as scenic as New Hampshire, (where we moved from), but we're considering this a temporary exile...
We'll look for the dealer in Syracuse this weekend- doing the treck to the Carousel Mall for the dreaded Christmas shopping.
