I'm the owner of a couple of iPods. Every time I get an update/upgrade on iTunes it comes up with Safari Download and I put no.

WHY???????

On the download on Thursday I didn't uncheck it. I'm using it today on my PC and it's ssssooooo quick and so much better than IE (whichever one it is I'm using in Windoze XP). I bought the pc secondhand, and I'm was using the windoze/IE/OE that it came with, just being lazy I guess. But from now on it'll be Safari all the way.
And I love the auto spell check.

Just got to transfer the bookmarks from IE.

I'm using Safari right now. Not only faster than IE, but much more secure as well. On my PC, I use Firefox and the related Email program. I have little use for the microslop browser and mail tool.

Can anyone give it a good comparison to Firefox? I'm very happy with Firefox at the moment but there's a few websites it doesn't handle well, mainly ActiveX stuff.

ActiveX is proprietary Microsoft and I doubt anything besides IE will handle it well.

Well Gina, don't forget while you're there, HIPPOS are responsible for more human deaths annually than ANY OTHER animals!!!

(wait a minute................................)

Never mind.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Thought I'd try Safari too, but the lion enclosure at the safari park put me off
