Just wondering, did we ever work out if you can use HD grips on our bikes?

I just had the plastic cable retainer on my (too expensive) kuryakyn grips fail and leave me stranded on the highway, and am looking at a set of grips to suit HD's (all years/models apparently) that claim to be made of billet aluminium. Anyone know if it'll work?

These're the ones I was looking at but I've since changed my mind, gonna go with these instead. According to their email the Honda grips fit, and it gives me a throttle lock at the same time. Just gotta let em know in your order that they're actually for a Triumph, for some reason.

Airguy has a set, they're pretty cool, although if I remember correctly - they weren't a direct fit - took a little work to install. Here is a link to his thread about them.
