i've been searching for a low profile tank bag for my speedy and while at my local triumph dealer the parts guy showed me the sixty8 bag for the bonnie. to be honest i never even looked at the luggage for the other bikes (mainly because navigating the triumph accessories website sucks) anyway, i snagged it and love the look. that got me thinking, has anyone tried to put the rocket saddlebags on a speedy or america? i tried the search and nothing came up.

The bike has only been out for a little while. The R3T bags may show up someday on ebay, but what gets damaged first in a laydown? And I'd bet the farm that buying a new set of Rocket III Touring hardbags would be far more expensive than Brent's Tsukayu hardbags or Leatherlyke hardbags.

Actually, I think my response still applies (even more so given the vast selection of soft bags available at very reasonable prices). But no, I haven't seen that yet and I spend WAY too much time on this site...

Just to let you know the rocket bags are $799.99 and the rails to go around them are $149.99. Ouch! You can get some real nice bags and easy brackets for a lot less than than $950.00

$950! And, in my opinion, they don't even look that good.

for some of us, money is not the issue besides all i was trying to do is get an answer if anyone has tried or knows if they fit. my dealer doesnt have any in stock at the moment and im not going to order them until i know. i see alot of things on peoples bikes that doesnt appeal to me but i dont post about it. mostly because im not the one riding it.

I've seen a set in person just the bags on a shelf they were a nice looking bags. Just don't remember if they were the throw over type or would be hard mounted. After I was told the price I didn't do any further checking to see if they would fit or not. So I went with bags from leatherinc.com just as happy.
