The last concert I went to was the Greatful Dead and Bob Dylan, In Foxboro Stadium (Foxboro Mass) couple years before Jerry died.
Open air stadium mid July. The grounds keepers were hosing down the crowd to try and prevent heat stroke.
Was supprised that the Dead opened the show. Was not surprised that i could not understand a word that Dylan
sang.(anyone thats seen him live will tell ya you cant understand him).
What did surprise me was the crowd, waa mostly young kids.
I'd say between 16-25 all dressed up like "hippies".
There I was expecting to be bonding with a bunch of burned out old acid heads. And found myself surrounded by a hoard
of teeny boppers looking like they were going to a holloween party.
