Just out of the machine shop and off to the cam grinder today....

Road and dyno testing shall commence asap.

It sure has taken longer than we hoped but these are complex cams to manufacture. In case you were not aware the Triumph Twin cams do not have removable gears and have to be manufactured as one piece items. A further complication is the allowance for the transferral of the spring loaded noise quietening split gear assembly from the original cams (which are not shown in these images), this has proven to be quite a task, completed to our satisfaction now though I must add.

My apologies to you guys for my lack of recent communication on the site here but it really has been full on here of late and thanks once again for your words of encouragement they are much appreciated here.

I keep having this fantasy about what my bike would be like with those cams and a BB kit and a freak ! Gotta be a huge transformation. i envision the biggest of harley V twins with tails tucked between thier shocks cowering at the site of the big bad blue speedmaster.

RCV, looks like exceptional craftsmanship; If I didn't already have re-grind cams already installed from the dealership, I'd sure be interested in your handywork. Thanks again for the Hard Work!

And actually, now that I think about it, what are the specs for your cams, if it's not proprietary information? I'd once asked my dealership for the specs on my re-grinds, then lost the data, and they wouldn't tell me a second time. How do your cams compare to the stock cams with respect to lift, duration, overlap, lobe center, and stuff like that?

I'm ready for a set if you want a nice evaluation. I bet they would be fine in the 904 motor that is all ported too.
hint hint.

Yes, stock re-ground to a new profile, from the dealership where I bought my ride.

Since you guys are working with billet cams, it would be really great if you could separate the drive gears and key them on. That way, people why are into serious racing could use offset keys to fine tune their timing.

Exactly! Those cams are great and its nice to see another choice especially from Thunderbikes. It would be nice to see seperated cam gears in order to tune your power range.

was there a noticable difference with your reground cams. or were they installed with other mods at the same time. are your reground cam specs available?

The re-ground cams were installed along with CRS carbs before I even bought the bike, so, no, I can't give you any kind of ride comparison. At one time, I did have the specs, but they were lost when this forum was re-done, and since then the dealership has decided to cite proprietary interest with regards to divulging the timing values. From what I remember, they weren't anything to hell-raising as compared to stock.

Really, a dealership actually had the balls to cite proprietary rites??? Sounds like a Harley dealership, LOL. I have never seen that with regards to the fact you own the cam. Any cam I bought always came with spec sheets and the sheet was lost, you could always get another. Too many companies and people regrinding cams to waste your time at that dealership. Sounds a little like BS, to me.

I thought so too, especially since at one time, they weren't nearly so closemouthed. The guy seemed to think that as soon as I posted the specs, people would all be flocking to have cams ground to match. It's not that big a deal, more of an annoyance.
