Having had the carb model and now the EFI model, I am finding that the smoothness is a lot better on the EFI. The petrol consumption is better, I know the tank is 3 litres bigger and even taking that into account more miles to the gallon.

One thing that is bugging me though is you cannot blip the throttle when you are changing down, the engine just dies. Also I have this really annoying clicking when I shut off the throttle which is bugging me. I have arranged for it to the dealer and I will take out an america EFI to see if that does the same.

I have put on TOR's, K&N air filter and had the bikes tune updated by the dealer at no charge, this has been a big improvement over the sewing machine it was when I bought it. The good thing is no playing around with jets, mixture screws etc, but if like to tinker go for the carb version.

It is pretty neat how they have kept the look of the carb though and has people baffled.
