Who uses what? I've been using the wax based stuff. But that is a PIA to clean. Looking to try somthing different.
So someone through some name brands out there please.

Yamaha spray chainlube. Relatively inexpensive, runs clean, & doesn't sling off.

I've had good results with Maxium Chain Wax but I clean the chain every 500 miles before re-spraying. Cleaning is just spinning the wheel while gripping the chain with a rag soaked in kerosene. I wipe a few times and let dry before re-waxing. Once a year I remove the sprocket cover, look for any buildup and clean. No problem slinging off - be careful not to over spray.

The Maxium chain wax cost me about $10. for a large can which hasn't run out yet after 3 years and 13500 miles, but finally about to run out. I guess at 14000 I'll have to buy another can. My dealer uses the same stuff and did it at the service intervals.
I just don't like mess on my wire wheels. The only thing that gets on them is brake pad dust which I wipe off once a week.

I'm actually glad this thread popped up. Currently I use Bel Ray's Super Clean Chain Lube that I get from my local shop. I only used it a couple of times prior to my bike getting trashed, but seems to be good stuff.
Also, while I was home my stepdad gave me a sample can of Wurth's HSS-20 (he's a sales rep), and said this is the best stuff on the market. It sprays real thin then gets a bit tacky. A buddy of his races bikes and uses this and said he doubled the life of chains and sprockets. Don't know if he's blowing smoke or not. Anyway, it was free so I'll eventually try it but wanted to know if anyone out there has used/heard of it.

I bought a can of Fuch's Silkolene at the local Japanese bike dealer. It wasn't my first choice (especially since it was almost $15), but I was in a hurry. When it runs out, I'm going to Walmart. They have 3-in-1 spray motorcycle chain lube in big cans for $5.

I use the Belray stuff but in almost 19,000 miles I only lubed it maybe 4 or 5 times. I have never cleaned it on purpose except the cleaning it gets by accident when I wash the whole bike. My sprockets still look good and the chain is fine too.

I have used a few different ones. While trapped on the island of Guantamno, the only choice I had was a permatex brand of foaming lube but it was really good stuff. anyone seen "beanclean?" just learned about it and want to get some. here at the beach you get lots of wear in your chain. lots of sand / dirt grit. you must clean it pretty regular. this stuff looks better than K-1 or WD-40 for sure. http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/motorcycle-chain-cleaner/bean-clean/

PJ1 Blue is the worst stuff I've ever used, & PJ1 Black is the second.
