I have an 02 TBA and the rear brake light doesn't work but the light comes on when the front is applied. I've looked for a switch but can't seem to locate it...any suggestions?

Well, the switch/sensor is on the left side of the bike right below the battery bolted to the frame. Sonya's brake light would not turn off and the dealer had to replace the sensor under warranty. It has a 2 wire plug going to it.

To check the switch, jumper the two terminals. The light should come on. Hydraulic pressure turns the switch on when you depress the rear brake.

Here is a link to the switch at BikeBandit. Click on "control and brake" then "rear brake master cylinder". The part is #25. Make sure it fits your bike if you need it because because it is serial number sensitive.
