Nah... the 500 mile service is due... in Nottingham. And I was gonna do a trial run to Gaydon for the Bonnie Event.... so I really was kind of riding that way.

Just a note to say that if anyone's heading up from the York area, meeting up with Kev R and friends 10 am Friday at ASDA petrol station Monks Cross if you want to tag along 
Sometimes it takes a whole tank full of fuel before you think straight

Well I'm having a bike weekend this weekend too... Going up for the 500 mile service (collecting the badges on the way) and - subject to the ba$tard starting - taking the old one to Mallory for the Festival of 1000 Bikes. Then riding back home on the 09 on Sunday... maybe via Bewdley.
So this weekend is busy too!

Finish up at work today for a week myself, Had to visit Hein Gericke last night and get a new roll bag for the tent etc ( I lent it to the kids and they lost last one, at least they brought the tent back) Just packing up the bike, should I bring this pan? Is there gold in the hills or is it mostly chrome?  Must take it easy through the hairpins.

Camping prices will include, showers etc and is £7.00 per - person - per night non refundable. This also includes a nominal fee towards the plaques of £1.00.

A run out has been planned by Chris (Oldgimmer) starting from the campsite and heading through
Sedbergh, Kirby Stephen, Brough, Barnard Castle then through to the Tan Hill down into Hawes using Butter Tubs Pass through Ingleton and then back to Dent Be warned this is 105 mile round trip
Plastic coated hand outs will be available on Saturday morning (to take with you) which include a map and instructions. A safety sheet will also be included for you to read. A large map will be available to look at on the Friday afternoon and will be next to the BBQ for your perusal.
There maybe quite a few for the run out from RAT (Riders Association of Triumph) members who will join us just for the run..

LATEST NEWS
Having spoken to the landlord of the George and Dragon in Dent he is prepared to put the beer festival on for us for the weekend. He has also said he can arrange trips to the Dent Brewery on the Saturday at £5.00 per head. Last year we struggled to eat hence why the BBQ was on all the time. This year Gary (George & Dragon) has promised that food will be available. (See menu above in this thread)

I'm going to the dealers in Edinburgh first thing on Friday morning for a 500 mile service, I will be heading down the A7 some time after 10am. Looks like there is no one else from the north east to meet up with so see you guys and gals there.

The speedmaster is off the road still, no way to get her done for the weekend Or even by the end of the Month.
