He has also said he can arrange trips to the Dent Brewery on the Saturday at £5.00 per head. Last year we struggled to eat hence why the BBQ was on all the time. This year Gary (George & Dragon) has promised that food will be available. (See menu above in this thread)

I'll probably be leaving quite early mate so that I can allow for getting lost a couple of times and the following beating I'll probably get off the missus for getting lost.

Seriously though, I reckon 7 ish should give us plenty of time to get up the M1 and M6 to meet people at Hinton services for about 9am.

No problemo!

Just as long as I can share the blame for any navigational screw ups then thats cool.

Keep an eye out on here and we'll all sort out a good meet up point.

And POLES (ask Graham - just duck when you do!!)

Oh and take from me Graham needs no aid in the getting lost department, biggest problem we have is that his cousin is coming as well, and out of the two of them Graham is like a top of the range sat nav!!!!!

I havn't called into this site for a while.

WOW what a turn out its gunna be. Me thinks someones been doing an oustanding job in organising again.

Look forward to seeing you again (those that went last year)

I'll have to do a bit of back reading to see where the meets are along the way.

Oh yes Graham have you upgraded your accommodation this year this year to a bivi bag?

Looking good Ray, a well deserved beer from me will be waiting for you at the bar.

Dont worry about the weather my sister is a scientist at the MET office, I gave her a kick after last years downpour. I have ordered full sunshine for the complete weekend so dont forget to bring the lotion.

The main three meeting places are as follows:-

Those from Blackpool, Kirkham roundabout (Junction 3), at 10.15

From the South M6 Lancaster Services, just past the turn off of the M55 meet times 11am - 12 noon

Short stop at Caton Bull Beck (cig, P, whatever....

Kirby Lonsdale The Bridge at 2pm for those from Ireland and further Oop North..

Any meet points further south please post up to coincide with these times, Don't want to be waiting all day for you..

Nah.... I'm just a night owl. That or I'm always late at meeting points so it tends to be easier just to make my own way....

A group of us will be traveling up from Jack’s Hill Cafe (A5) near Towcester on Thursday evening. We will be breaking the journey up into two legs stopping over at Shallow Grange Farm (Buxton) on Thursday night. Will set off from the Farm on Friday morning... cat and fiddle run over to the M6 stopping at Knutsford Services at about 10.00am and then up to the Lancaster Services meet point for 11.00am.

Anyone who wants to join us would be very welcome.

By the way... i don't know about anyone else but i always have a problem remembering the names of motorway services. Found this site useful. Gives a post code so you can google map and check distance / times.

Anyone heading up from south/M5:
Hilton Park Services M6 - 9am. Then on to Knutsford Services to meet Mark and Buxton lot for about 10am.
