Paul(s)

all you "modern farmers" should feel blessed... if it wasn't for that big british diesel you rely on for your ploughing you'd probably own of those american tractor gadgets with the massey ferguson plant ...
I think we're gonna need a bigger corner...

Hi Paul keeping to the same times as last year so that would be between 11am - 12 at Lancaster Services. or 10am at Junction 3 (Kirkham turn off)off the M55.

We have a little run over Quernmore to Caton from the Lancaster services a little bit more scenic than the M6.

OK that seems a plan, 10am at Junc 3 M55, on the A585 pointing North.See you there. A scenic run in does sound a lot better than more motorway.
Thanks

Having spoken to the landlord of the George and Dragon in Dent he is prepared to put the beer festival on for us for the weekend. He has also said he can arrange trips to the Dent Brewery on the Saturday at £5.00 per head. Last year we struggled to eat hence why the BBQ was on all the time. I've got it!!
I know previously I said the pics looked like they had been in a smash but I just got it!

The pics on each side look like one of those walker thingies the old dears use to walk along - you know, like a zimmer but with a set of bars, a brake lever and wheels on 'em?
Am I wrong? Tell me I'm wrong!

As it's now less than 3 months till Dent, I've been able to book the time off work.

And I'm first to apply for the day off for Friday and second for the Saturday.
As the first 3 are guaranteed... I'm there!!!!!

Now just got to decide how I'm getting there and where from.....

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

THE RUN OUT - Saturday 10 am

Disclaimer
PLEASE NOTE THAT CHRIS AND I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ACCIDENTS THAT MAY OCCURE DURING THIS RIDE. TAKING PART IS YOUR OWN PERONAL DECISION AND YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK

A run out has been planned by Chris (Oldgimmer) starting from the campsite and heading through

Sedbergh, Kirby Stephen, Brough, Barnard Castle then through to the Tan Hill down into Hawes using Butter Tubs Pass through Ingleton and then back to Dent

Plastic coated hand outs will be available on Saturday morning (to take with you) which include a map and instructions. A safety sheet will also be included for you to read. A large map will be available to look at on the Friday afternoon and will be next to the BBQ for your perusal.

There maybe quite a few for the run out from RAT (Riders Association of Triumph) members who will join us just for the run..

Last years photos/Video can be seen here on Mark's (British Steel) Website made for Dent 2009 Videos put together by Lowey..

LATEST NEWS

Having spoken to the landlord of the George and Dragon in Dent he is prepared to put the beer festival on for us for the weekend. He has also said he can arrange trips to the Dent Brewery on the Saturday at £5.00 per head. Last year we struggled to eat hence why the BBQ was on all the time. This year Gary (George & Dragon) has promised that food will be available. (See menu above in this thread)

Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

you also may have noticed that comments were already put!!!!

I could not give a toss who turns up for what meet/rally or whatever to be honest. I also think it is a shame that two meets can not get organised without all this crap.
