News of the Dent Rally is spreading wide and far. So far i have been approached by 4 rock bands wanting to play, a hog roast company wanting to set up a stall and most recently a mini pancake company. Don't worry... all have been let down gently. It's not that kind of rally

I take it you like pancakes Gina? Mind you, they do sound good.... "We sell portions of 6 mini pancakes, with strawberry, chocolate, maple syrup or toffee sauce, chantilly cream and a dusting of caster sugar all for only £1.50"

Yeah, I heard that the Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd and ACDC were all a bit put out by your refusal Mark.
I'm not so sure about the hog roast but if the noisy sheep in the neighbouring field disturb my hangover like last year then its mutton madras all round this year.
Mini pancakes? Would it have been a different story if they were selling monster pancakes or dare I say it - jaffa cakes?

Just thought i would clear up any confusion.... the HOG roast mentioned previously is in fact a culinary delight which involves spit roasting a hog (pig or boar) and not the owner of one of those fine rival brand of bike from the USA. Er… when I say it involves spit roasting what I actually mean is…. Oh never mind!

Steve There's me.... and that's normally about it. I think on page 8 or 9- a while back anyway, I was discussing my plans. Or lack of them. at the minute I don't know which bike I'm taking, where I'm going from, or if I'm even going by bike. Though if my back stays as good as it is at the mo, I will be.... Though I'm not even off work at this time - I can't book it off till next month! As I'm the only one who's been to things from down this way, I'm used to riding alone.... But anyway, ask me again nearer the time.... as if I do ride up there from down here - I have the advantage of going before....

Steve, Tractor, cause it sounds like one, and also because it is perfect for giving Ray a tow up the hills, as he is slowed down by all his chrome.

We booked for Friday and Saturday having stopped on route in Preston on Thursday (gotta be a 1st time for every thing!) to come out with you guys on Saturday having sank a few jars on Friday shall be great. Is there any event marchandise available over the weekend or is it all prepaid?
Just to continue a theme I have tors and decat on mine they plough at 7 inch depth at 20ft per min. Freind Neil has Jardine 3 into 2. What can I say, he has ploughing down to a fine art! no competition!!

Paul, I have Tors and Decat as well, as for the 3 into 2 Jardine's, well!!! I think rather than a ploughing contest, we should have a Tractor pull!!!!! Ray's pride and joy would make a good anchor
