Congrats on getting the bike running. Is there anyway to make sure the cam chain is all lined up before re-installing?

I've wondered why my dealer asks for the last 4 or 5 of the vin number when I order any parts. This was even before the 865cc Speedmasters. I guess there's been changes from year to year that we don't know about.
Is that microfiche the ficheman sells on ebay kept up to date for each model year? Anyone bought one lately?
