Photo ripped off from Ryan!
Ryan, "When the cover came off, the shaft and washer fell out ,and somehow, all of the gears shifted up and to the left. They are now properly in place, and everything seems to be in order. Luckily, the first botched attempt at starting did not damage any of the gears or shafts. First test ride did not show any further leakage from either the gasket or the newly tapped bolt holes (bonny and dinqua - I couldn't have put more RTV in those holes if I had been paid to do it. You should both be proud.), but this is not a true test. I know I need to get to sustained speeds around 75 and rpms up in the 4's.
Down a quart or so on oil do to all the monkey business."
