If you like sweet then look for whiskies matured in madeira , sherry or port casks . Glenfiddich does a nice one called Solera Reserve ,done quite a few bottles of that in the last few years. my all time favs are from Glenmorangie,Sherry Wood or Madeira Wood Finish .i,m a tad biased tho ,i lived down the road from the distillery in Tain back in the 80s.
