Hi,

I am looking for a new cover to replace one which got caught in some wind and ripped.

I always struggle to find a suitable cover for the America that is the right size including sissy bar.

Websites list some makes/models but never the America.

Any suggestions, including size of cover would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jazz

Don't know what they are like OXFORD

I know Triumph do a dust cover for the America, try ringing Jack Lilly and see if they do a rain (outside cover) as well.

I got the Oxford Stormex in large for my America and it fit it fine (in fact it covered it right over the front and back wheel to the ground - good if you've got cats that like ****** on things.

got sorted with one of those bike garage things in the end.. not for the bike, for the cats. i lock them in there and hit it with hammers until they learn not to ****** on my stuff.

The blue Triumph emblazoned dust cover is exactly that - I wouldn't use mine outside. £60 is a lot to rip in the wind.

Hiya, Stuart, welcome to the site.

I got my cover from Aldi. £15 and it's pretty good, although finding one could be tricky. Pulls right down over the bike to the floor, although I don't have a sissy bar.

And check out this thread if you fancy a spot of riding/drinking/camping/banter/etc. with like-minded individuals.

Gina might chip in here, she keeps her bike outdoors all year round.

I'm lucky to have a garage ... when I'm looking to move priorities are 1.garage 2.How much? 3.where?

Where in the UK you at Jazz?
Don't worry, we won't come round and drink all your beer

Erm......yes, I do have to keep mine outside, but I stopped covering him up ages ago. The wind and the alarm....that and I got fed up of staying up an extra hour after work to go out and cover him up....just couldn't be arsed. Bad attitude but hey....
The Oxford ones are quite good, and the one I now don't use was from a Classic Bike show, and fitted really well. Wasn't cheap, but does (did) the job. It said cruiser on it - probably made to fit a Hardley.

Anything to fit a Hardley should do, XL size if it doesn't specifiy.

Just don't spend too much and don't get a proper Truimph one.

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....
