My Triumph Retro Paddock Jacket seems to fit the bill for most of my needs in Maryland. Temps in the high 50's this morning, had it and a sweatshirt on underneath. By noon, just wearing the jacket (liner zipped out) and the vents open. By 4 PM, just a t-shirt. The jacket with liner and a sweatshirt is good down to the high 40's, which is pretty much as cold as I ride around here.
