Bonneville America Forums Forums Technical Forums General Tech Valves/Lifters need adjusting???

Just had the bike serviced... service manager said "you should really get your valves/lifters adjusted, they're really loud". I said I just had them adjusted in December when the bike got fixed from when the stupid lady ran over it when it was parked in the pub parking lot. He looked up in the records and said "Hum, I see that they did". Then he didn't mention that they needed adjusting again. Problem is now that he mentioned it they do seem rather loud and "clackey". Could they really need adjusting again this soon... I hope not cause that adjustment wasn't cheap.
