I do understand the homogenizing of cruiser bikes, but Triumph could try a little harder to keep some of it's identifiable heritage. The tank style, name plate, headlight, speedo/tach are a few things besides the vertical twin that don't have to look like everything else.

I drive a Jeep Wrangler. My new 2008 is larger, modernized, even has 4 doors, but still looks like a Jeep. I hate to see Triumph cruisers become like cars where after the Ford Taurus came out, all makes of 4 doors looked the same. Copying nice features is one thing, but losing identity is another. Other than a V-Rod, Harleys still look like Harleys. They know how valuable their heritage is.
