Considering almost 1282 people have looked at this thread since about 6:00pm, I would say this new Triumph will do very well. I agree I'm not liking the tank. I would rather they get rid of the console for traditional gauges (tach and speedo) like on the Rocket III and Classic but if it holds close to 6 gallons I could live with it.
I like the rear end, the belt drive and the clear lenses on the turn signals and also the headlight. Not crazy about the funny looking valves on the engine and also the small Triumph badge, as wojo said. If it goes for around 10 or 11 grand it would be a good deal vs Harley or even Honda VTX 1800 or other Japanese big bore twins. But I'm afraid I will have to agree with Friarjohn. I would rather get a leftover new Rocket III like an 07 or I have even seen some new 06s with good prices.Something about those 140 ponies that intrique me.
But Yota still wins the prize. He was closest with his guess of it being a "1620"
