Well I waited and waited before I weighted in abouth the new Thunderbird.
At first I wasn't crazy about the first pic I saw of it, that low shot showing the front and right side at the same time.
Then the other pics came out and I said, from the profile I really like but then the head on shot came out and I really, really hated that but really, really liked it from the rear.
I've read all of the posts in this thread and most have complained about the engine not being a Triumph (yes Dwight, I heard you the first, second and third time).
After giving it a few days to look it over for the most part I like it. What would I prefer on it to be different?
First, I want a bigger Triumph badge.
Second, straight pipes.
Third, I would like to see a fuller rear fender so that if you do want to bob it you can but if you don't.....
Oh and here's a shot of a 2001 Triumph Thunderbird engine.
So the new Thunderbird has a Triumph engine, fins or no and I think we can all agree that Triumph does develop some great engines.
