If I had to choose in real life actor movies, I'd have to say Tim Burton's but that wasn't perfect either. Nicholson pulled off a better classic rendition of the Joker IMHO.
If they could use Paul Dini's vision of Batman with real people, that would nail it.
Dini did a perfect job of taking the genre in it's classic style and bringing it to life via animation.
Things that the movies haven't focused on is that the original Bats and Joker were very intelligent. It's something that the real life movie's really didn't touch up on well enough.
The best part about the Batman movies to me?
Michelle Pfeiffer in the cat woman suit.
