Dwight,
Yes you do have a the right to point out what you believe to be the more rational behavior. It just seems to be that when you do point out the error of someone's ways, as per your paradigm, you like to denigrate the said offender. No sir, I don't like that. Nope, not at all. Are my feelings hurt? Come on, gimme a freaking break. I think some people around this place that have met me know I got some pretty darn thick scales on this hide o' mine. So though I do respect you opinion, I do not take well to the belittling of folk to get a point across.
You make a good point there, Keith. But I've never said I was the most tolerant moron around, ya know?! I suppose one could say "I don't suffer fools gladly!"
(HEY! GIMME A BREAK HERE..."Fool" IS a STEP UP from "Moron", isn't it???!!!)

But I certainly hope you don't think that one of them there Kalifornia teams has a chance in hades. Do you? I really hope not or I may just have to change my opinion of your ability level of rational thought.
GOOD ONE!!!
(but them there ANGELS are lookin' mighty good right now, ain't they?!)

OK, how do any talkshow hosts come in to play during a helmet law debate, conservative, liberal, libertarian, centrist or whatever? Still wondering.
The point was that those blowhards mentioned above tend to get higher ratings due to their bombastic deliveries, because evidently one can't appeal solely to the general public's intellect out there anymore because evidently attempting to appeal to that intellect seems to put most folks to sleep, or they "change channels" and go elsewhere to be "entertained". You see, evidently "thinking"(without the accompanied "Dog and Pony Show") appears to be very taxing to most folks these days.
(that's why I brought that reference up, and why I often seem to resort to bombast...it seems to work in catching and holding a whole lot o' folk's attention...of course, I also have to admit I sometimes wonder how many BA.com members have me on their "Ignore This User" list too, ya know!...those of good taste, I can only assume!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
