just recently my gear change has got a lot louder in most gears but what im worried about is that when i let the clutch out to pull away somtimes there is a click then it seems the clutch bites? any help would be appreciated, thanks

IS the cushdrive in the rear wheel loose? IF it is loose it can make noise,the chain and sprocket snatching.They are known to go bad.You can check it by grabbing the rear sprocket and holding the wheel.Try and move the sprocket back and forth with the wheel on the ground and trans in neutral.There should be no or little play. I installed a new Thunderbird cushdrive and this elemenated the problem I believe the part number is possibley in the tech valt.I got mine off of www.bikebandit.com .

just checked and there is about 1/4 inch movment on rear sprocket, new cushdrive? and should i replace rear sprocket and chain?

sprocket and chain will be fine with that low mileage, might be worth having dealer just check it out tho for the click in case it is internal they have noted it so if you have the problem again or something breaks your covered
