A few months ago I posted on here I had advanced my exhaust cam one tooth. The effect I felt was positive, but there is always give and take to everything. One negative is it does kill some top end as others had noted on here. The other thing is it hurt my fuel mileage I figure 3 ot 4 mpg going down the freeway on average. So do to the sky hi fuel cost and myself not named Trump I set the cam back to save some money on fuel.I did notice on the freeway I do not have to open the throttle as much, good. So hopefully my mpg will go up.Yes I know you other guys told me so.So if I go to do it again it will be with some 790cams or aftermarket cams.I know I sound cheap(I am) being worried about what it cost to fill my bike, but it's crazy cost wise to have to fill up your bike. Some trips I end up filling 4 or 5 times in a day and that's a lot of $$$$$.Needless to say I have not been taking as many long weekend trips. The wife is suppose to go back to work in August that will help,I hope.So for now cam timing is back to the way Triumph wanted it.The cams do look like they are out of lawnmower.
