Yes the larger bags are just wider and as I don't plan to do any touring in the foreseeable future I preferred the look of the narrower bags. I got them on the web direct from custom cruisers, the UK distributor but I've only just got them and although the quality seems good, time will tell. I would say that although the back plate of the bags seem very rigid the fixing nuts on the inside look a bit small, so I'm going to add some large washers in there to spread the load. The rest of the bags seem quite stiff and not prone to sagging but when you first fit the bags on the brackets they seem reluctant to fit properly. This clears up after putting them on and off a few times so not a problem. As to the price, it seems reasonable given what we have to pay over here.
