Last night, my wife showed me an ad on craigslist for a bike that had "never been in the rain" see these all the time, tells me the bike was probably not out of the garage much in the summertime here. Although I do not care about a little rain, I can see where this MIGHT be an interesting point to some potential buyers.

But notably, this bike has also "Never been ridden in the dark." Is this to suggest that there is no mole or bat related damage to the bike?

Thom I might be wrong, I sometimes am.

Maybe just making the point that garage queen isn't owned by a vampire either.

Should just say never ridden.

Obviously the motorcycle in question here must have been manufactured some time ago on the British Isles and has always been owned and solely operated by a well-bred englishman, because as we all know..."A gentleman does not motor about after dark!"-*

(*-this acccording to a certain Mr. Joseph Lucas, anyway)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Or one lady owner - never ridden due to below knee amputation.

I rememeber that day Brett and I were there for the unavailing along with Uncle Charlie and bunch of other on lookers.

Martin, come to think of it good thing Uncle Charlie did not tell his bowling ball joke that day.

As for riding in the rain a good *** soaking is an requirement in my book before you say I ride.

Seems like every time I ride to work it rains, regardless of what the weather man says.

Guys will say, "Man, I don't feel like working tomorrow, hope we rain out. Anthony, ride your bike."

As for the dark, I never hardly intend to ride in the dark, but because of the strange bar/time phenomenon/wormhole, seems like it's always dark when I head it home.

I ride in the dark all the time. Should I shine bright lights on my bike to counter the effects of darkness? If I ever sell it (God forbid), should I disclose this information?

This kinda reminds me of the very pretty Sportster for sale down the street from me. Been sitting there uncovred for over a week now 24hrs a day.I stopped to lookat it today just to see how many miles. Coulldnt tell got one of the digital odometers. But I'm starting to think the owner is hoping it will get stolen.
