I've scratched up the chrome ring that holds the headlight headlight in the bucket when I fell off in May. Just went to get a new one from the local Triumph stealership. But at $170.00 they can stick their ring where the sun don't shine. Any one got one or know of an alternative???? I'm working on a pretty tight budget here. All suggestions welcome!

The ring is the same, but the bucket is completely different. Ours has that bottom mount and the Bonnie has the side mounts.

I remember having to purchase a brake lever for a Ducati Monster I once owned and it was $76 ($14 on a Suzuki) I guess European is synonymous with Expensive! I also remember buying an Triumph ST955 side fairing that was $480. Not complaining though, Would rather own my America than any of them.

I have the same problem. I bought a ring off ebay that the seller said fit triumphs. Ended up that it obviously wasnt a speedmaster, maybe an older triumph model. Anyway the ring was too small, so i cut the sucker in half and took double sticky tape and put it over the scratched part. Lol. It looks pretty good but id still rather have a new ring, but like you guys said im not spending that kind of dough for one.

One more thing where you think, "Jeez, that's hard to believe." I think I'm gonna call it "predatory parts planning".
