some of you might have seen the floods on T.V. that affected my humble state of Iowa. My Mom ,sister and brother all had 8 foot of water in their homes and I am thankfull that I had a lot of vacation to burn to help muck them out and strip the drywall and floors so they can begin to rebuild... This post is not about a big pity party for those affected but a call for anyone who has the means to donate to the red cross... since the flood, anyonewho is down in the crap has not went thirsty or hungry not to mention the folks from all over the states who are there to help you move stuff,give you masks to wear, bleach ,gloves, boots or what ever you need... reminds me how lucky I am to live in this great land we call home...I've seen commercials about the red cross for my whole live but now I know who they are... send em a couple bucks if ya can. Thanks
