The gentleman who recently sold me the TORS has a Clearview screen with alignment issues on his pre-'07 America. He mounted it, but apparently not without significant time and trouble. I think he said there were problems with the angle at which the holes were drilled. If you swap yours for the 20", it might be appropriate to ask the company to double-check all this. It would be a shame to wait another nine weeks, only to receive a screen that doesn't fit properly.

Thanks Jack. On second look, the holes in my screen are probably in the correct location; however the screen curvature is different enough to cause what appears to be a slight misalignment. This is NOT major and would only be noticeable if someone's attention were drawn to it.

I had no problem mounting the screen.

Also, I talked with another Clearview screen owner who experienced the same buffeting that I'm getting. After further road tests, I think it's something I can live with as a taller screen would definitely block the road view more.

Clearview recommends that the top of the screen hit the road 50' in front which is precisely where my line of sight is.

At speeds below 60, there is no question that the screen is better than without.

And yes, I don't think it's worth waiting another nine weeks although I would hope that Clearview would put a return at the top of the production line.
