Shutterbug I did as you said and researched past threads, the biggest question I have is, how is the buffeting situation? Am I going to have to get lowers too in order to aleviate it? Are you happy with the height? Do you wish you would have gone taller? Any info appreciated. Thanks

Hi Robert...As for buffetting....the Clearview eliminates it all in my opinion. You do get some wind movement from down under and off the tank. The lowers manage that just fine. I do have some wind on me, but that can be from the angle it's blowing, how hard it's blowing, how fast you're going, etc. On our hot days, this is a bonus. There is zilch buffeting with this combination. I have the 18" high, 2" wider screen and I can just look over the screen if I don't slouch. I'm 5'11" tall. As I ride along, I look through the shield ....partly because I now have the Corbin Solo saddle and it lowered me an inch. I find the optics of the plexy good. The next taller shield looks away too big and seems to be the wrong proportions for the bike. You can call John at Clearview and talk to him regarding your concerns...he's very helpful. The lowers I made out of Lexan....the brackets are from Memphis Shades and Fast Eddy has those. Get them for the lower tubes and the right size for your bike. Size and shape is a personal preference....mine are about 12" long and 4 1/2" wide and shaped as seen in photo. You need a 9/16" drill for the holes. The driving lights complete the look. I'm very pleased with my set up as I tend to ride out of the city and I like some comfort. Don
