Yeah, just for giggles, loosen up your front axle and pinch bolts and bounce on the front end a few times. Then tighten all back up. It doesn't take much of an impact to get the front forks a little twisted.
I was following an SUV one time from a light onto a highway and suddenly found a dead deer in my path. It wasn't much of an impact as I squished over/through the carcass, but boy the rest of my ride sure didn't smell too good....
