I have a set of long TORs, the kind that are not flow-through. If you ran a long dowel into the first baffle pipe the stick would come to a stop at the next baffle. The exhaust tone was fine, but I wanted a little more volume, and bite, for sound. I got a 4 foot length of re-bar at Home Depot for $4, then sharpened one end of the re-bar with my grinder til the point was like a pencil-point. Then ran the sharpened end into the first baffle pipe til it stopped at the next baffle. Taking my mini-sledge hammer I slowly drove the rebar until it pierced that second baffle plate, then kept hammering until the full width of the re-bar had penetrated. I had to use vise-grips to twist the re-bar out. Repeated the same procedure for the other TOR. Started up the bike and WOW, what a great sound...it's perfect. My plugs were always a bit sooty before this mod, but now they are a perfect tan color. Best, and easiest mod yet.
