Hi Ray, congrats on the new bike. The electrical connector is, as you said, for the pump and to remove the fuel line, get someone to hold the tank up for you and shine a torch up at the pipe in question. You'll find there's a clip that you pull or push sideways which in turn allows two small button type thingies (a technical term) either side of the fuel line to be compressed and the pipe pops right off with a gentle tug. It's difficult to explain but when you have a look and fiddle (more technical words) you'll see what I mean. Took me a while to figure out as well. all the best. John
I had actually moved that clip thingy to one side, but had the wife trying to hold the tank at the same time, which of course I had filled right up with gas... needs to come off to put the light bar back on..
