How about a new one? I've seen some great pics on the site and I'm sure it would produce a lot more!
How about "weather" as a theme?
Any suggestions?

Great pics Jim! How can we get this thread organized into an actual photo contest where members can vote after a predetermined period of time? Maybe the sponsors would like to donate prizes to the winners as in previous years. The theme doesn't have to be weather... BTW I have the same Tourmaster bag as you and am very happy with it!

If you are asking about mine, they were taken at the Manzanita overlook on U.S. Hwy 101 at various different rides. For me, it is a must stop place on that road.

Great view Soren! That's a beautiful stretch of highway. I drove through there a few years ago...unfortunately in a motorhome, and not on my bike...

Nice pics Thomas!
Those old covered bridges are pretty cool...do they have a wooden floor over concrete or pavement?
A question for you...can you see the pics I posted in this thread? I see all but one (shadow and moon) as red X's and am not sure if it's just my browser or if other members can see them...anybody?
Cheers!

Aaron,
Thanks!
The covered bridge in that photo has only a wooden floor (with two sets of timbers running the length over a cross laid bottom). Rode across each way on the right side timbers. They are slick! and the joints between the boards are interesting.
On your post, I do not even see the red X's, all I see it the one shadow and moon shot.

Thanks Thom, Not designed with motorcycles in mind, I guess. Maybe I need to try reposting with less photos in each post. I had 6 uploaded and they looked fine when I previewed it and then later disappeared. MODERATORS: Sorry if I've double posted but have been having problems uploading pics here.

Hi Nick,
Thanks, I hang that bag off my bars and keep a wad of water soaked paper towels in there to have at easy reach to clean the splattered bug guts off of my visor while riding.
Cheers!

Hi John, Yeah I think I'm uploading correctly so am not sure why they're not showing up. Maybe I'll try uploading them from another site and see if that works. I also don't understand why some people can see them and others, including myself, can't. Thanks for the input! Here's a link to the pics anyways. Look under "Triumph" http://www.pbase.com/viajero69Cheers!

HEY! Now THAT'S just NOT FAIR!!! What kind of "contest" is this anyway??? I mean, Johann's a professional, as anyone can plainly see just by lookin' at those GORGEOUS PHOTOS o' his. (and so, as a protest, I'm just gonna gaze at his pictures for the next 5 minutes and wish I had just 10% of his talent!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Well Johann, tell ya what dude! Because I KNOW any picture of my Spyder that you'd take would be a thing of beauty, once the price of a barrel of oil drops below a hundred bucks again(yeah...fat chance, huh?!) and then subsequently all the airline fuel surcharges become "a little" more affordable, well then dude...YOU'RE ON!!!
