Just a tought... a difference between the America seat and the touring seat is a post mount for the tour seat that makes interchanging between it and the stock a bit of a pain. But as well, if you remove the aft mount plate from the tour seat, you can then remove the seat with just a pull of the lock cord. The plate on the rear of the seat doesn't really do much for you.
