Maybe it's me.....but I ride my bike to get away from other people !!! Never really got my head around the whole 'group riding' thing.
On my own, I start off when I want....stop when I want...eat and drink breaks when I want....smoke breaks when I want....go home when I want.
And my mobile phone is with me, but switched off. Can anybody explain why you would need your mobile phone hooked up to speakers and a microphone in your helmet just in case somebody called you ???
I ride alone for the peace and solitude.....why do I need a phone conversation ????
