There have been some very insightful and mostly dead on points expressed thus far in this thread. I have been on the fringes of a few clubs over the last twenty years, was considered a "hang around" at one point, have many friends who are Patch Holders w/ one club or another, and a couple "brothers" who are Patch Holders. Never took the plunge to go any farther than that, and I am POSITIVE that I am much better off for it. As was stated being a Patch Holder in an MC is not a Lifestyle, it is a way of life.
