I need to charge my battery as it seems to be failing it went to start tnen made a vibrationg sound.. what is the best way to access the battery?what comes of first etc?

cheese grater, then the cover it (the cheese crater) covers, then the strap, then the cover (battery) all use a allen key. one at the bottom of the grater, one (I think) in the cover, one in the strap

my stock battery lasted about a year then died in the Dallas heat. Order a replacement from newbonneville.com. It's lasted me four years and still going strong.

 Although in this picture the saddle has been removed, you do not need to remove the saddle   You don't need to take the faux air cover off of this side...  black is beautiful

That strap bolt is a torx head, isn't it?
I don't remember - I changed all of mine a loong time ago.
