Im with you there. Thats why the ends were rounded and the edges filed down to a nice blunt edge. That corner still looks sharp tho!
I need to find those plastic covers that are used on bed frames to cover the ends pointing at me.
Tru-dat - The angle ends are killers. Box in the end with another angle and bolt a backrest to it - comfort and safety. Actually, I'd box both ends and stick a little decorative something or other on the back - maybe a light or two (And if safety is a concern - maybe one of those flashing strobes. And, maybe lose those rivits and get some bolts and lock washers. There's a bunch of potential for utility there. I can see all kinds of luggage space there - Maybe a hard box to go with those bags.
