I was hoping it said what kinda harley it was cause the article just says "a motorcycle flipped a car" but that road king thingy is like driving a van into a car.

To say he was moving at a high rate of speed is a gross understatement in my opinion.
Everyone try to keep it under 150....

Surely this would depend on the weight of the Hardly and the position of the car at the time, and also the speeds of both vehicles..

Artical says Older Grand Am as well. Depending on the year thing could have been a tank.
Whats interesting is they dont know which way the cage was going? They should be able to tell that from the impact crater cant they? Well I think inorder for any bike to flip a car,even a road king. It would have have to hit it broad side. Which would mean the direction of the car was right in front of the bike.
Seems this particular news paper wants to focus on the bikes speed instead. Ahh the American press.

Maybe it was going down hill!
I actually saw something like that happen a few years ago in Daytona. One of those Boss Hoss bikes flipped a pick up when it hit. Granted more weight to do the job but same basic result.

On a seriuos note I hate to see any rider get hurt. A while back about 20 miles from home had a crotch rocket doing 130 and T-Boned a 4 runner fliped the 4 runner ,Bike and body stayed with the 4 runner, helmet was to much force on head it ended up in the road still in the helmit. I saw a cage on the way home today from work lady talking on cell not watching 3 deer ran across road I had time to stop and she took out one we need to ride safe and pay attention out there.

While at Johnstown bikw rally a woman on a cell almost took Wendy out, thankfully I had just installed Stebel horns on our bikes, Wendy hit it and the lady screeched to a hault.
