12 days? Doesn't sound bad at all. Bikebandit took 30 days on two separate orders (never again) and Thunderbike also took almost a month to ship (once shipped, transit time was quick).
I'll never "assume" again and always ask if the item is in-stock before ordering via 1-800 number (after my Thunderbike experience). It appears this vendor does have one.
You know what they say about "assuming" (something is in stock).
