My personal philosophy about mortality comes from a Native American proverb:
"If it is your time to live nothing can kill you and if it is your time to die nothing can save you."

...OR....as Big Chief No Helmet might have said(who ironically was clipped by a Cadillac Escalade while crossing Arizona Hwy-89 on his "iron horse"(an old beat up BSA Victor) right outside Cameron on his way to the casino one glorious day)..."OUCH! Head is split open and me think me dying, and so, it is good day to die!"(just before he did...how "noble", HUH?!)

Just when I thought he was a Calvinist, he turns out to be a Klingon

Now wait a minute here, big guy!!!

If I remember correctly, Klingons "believe" in a fatalistic philosophy!!!(at least according to a certain Mr. Roddenberry, I hear anyway!)

And so, how in the universe can you even THINK that I, Dwight, could conceivably be a friggin' KLINGON, when you HAVE to know by now that I believe that everybody makes their OWN fate, because they either use that organ nettled betwix and between their friggin' ears, or they DON'T!!!

OR, as Calvin...Calvin COLLIDGE that is...might have said in January 1929, "Here ya go Herbert! I'm handin' this whole overly speculative and poorly regulated Market over to you now! So keep it goin', kid!"

(yeah, I know Bill...THAT was one weird segue, wasn't it?!...but hey, the way I figure it, a Calvin Coolidge reference is always good for a laugh or two...at LEAST a lot more than JOHN Calvin ever is anyway!!!)
