Hello, I'm new here and as I look around I see the "Vendor Only" forum. This is a great idea to have vendors alert us to new products. How about a "Wish List" thread so that we owners can put in our ideas for things we would like to have on our bikes? Ok... I'll put in mine. I would like someone to make a custom tail light lense to replace the stock one. Make it the same shape so it would be an easy bolt on addition. Given the general shape of the OEM tail light, I think it would lend itself well to a lens in the shape of the face of a skull or a devil... Thanks for looking!

I'd prefer a cloaking device of some sort. It would come in handy all of the time. Like when you see that cop up ahead and you were going way to fast out of that turn or when you really just want to get some gas and go, but you see that old man heading towards you saying, "I used to have a Triumph...."
Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

I'd love to move my forward controls a little further forward. I have a two designs in mind, one a little more complicated than the other...but custom-fabricating is not something in my budget right now.

dont forget about the built in cloaking device that comes standard on all bikes that makes us invisible to cars

I would love to see this but it is very unlikely the way our trannys are set up. Plus on these bikes you would still need a battery to run all the electronics that make it run. They aren't like the old bikes that you could run with a stone dead battery. I have the same dead battery in my 66 TR6C that has been in there for the last 20 or so years and it still runs. Or my 54 T-110 that is magnito/generator set up not requiring a battery except for the lights. A kicker kit would require engine cases and a tranny or possibly a clutch re-work depending how you want to link the kicker to the crank.I would love one but not for the $3,000 or so it would probably cost.

I would like a rear turn signal relocation kit that would move them up to the last bolt of the faux fender struts. I know they exist for other metrics but will they work on our America/Speedmasters?

OK Soren then tell me a realistic way to make a reasonably priced kick start kit........didn't think so. Wasn't intended to stomp on anyones dreams but that is the reality of it. I suppose it may be possible to modify the primary cover and run some sort of jackshaft but I don't think that likely either.

Where the OEM passenger peg mounts are triangular, I wonder if it would be possible to make them big enough to incorporate one of the old style toolboxes into the middle of them; Or, just make peg hangers that feature a little storage compartment.

It's been done, just not mass produced. Can't remember who did it.

I have a good idea for the quick detach trailer hitch that would leave almost nothing on the bike and not require any bolting or unbolting of anything. Not sure when I'll get time to fab it up but I will eventually.

I, I hate to say this because some thing will come up that I'll want the moment I send this through, but I'll risk it. I'm pretty much done with the goodies. I'll go with the braided steel brake cables when the OEM's need changing and go with floating rotors when the front ones go. Are the floaters that much better by the way? The only other thing I can think of is some clear lenses for the turn signals.

I'm likin a lot of ideas you guys have here. I know I've wanted that sixth gear from day one. The kick-start I thought about too, but figured it was something I didn't have to have. It would be nice though. There have been several discussions about the turn signal lenses here and it seems to have quite a lot of interest. Someone ought to pick up the ball and get some made. Clear and red for front and back. How about it? Does anybody know anybody that has access to the magic formula and the mold or machining capability to make, say 50 sets of each? BTW it was a good idea to have this thread too. Wouldn't be a bad idea to send it to Triumph after about six months and give them something to get to work on for the future.

I think it would be cool if the maker of the clutch lifter dress up kit as seen at Brent's website www.newspeedmaster.com could make a matching one for the shift linkage arm.

Now that I have the knee pads on my speedy tank, I again wish someone would make an idea of mine: Using a magic marker/felt tip pen body and tip, fill it with an armor all type substance instead of ink. Viola! A small detail size tip for applying armor all type material to hard to get to bits of rubber and vinyl without getting it smeared all over the freshly washed and waxed paint.

A quick release sissy bar/backrest. I really don't like the look of the sissy bar but it's necessary for 2 up. My friend has a Harley with quick release sissy bar, it's awesome. On and off in about 0.5 seconds.

50 more horses 6th gear (I've got the 18T, and still want 6th) Some spikier handlebar spikes than Kuryakyn makes A much cheaper quiet drive kit with a little higher ratio to boot. A freak kit that doesn't make me freak at the aftermath left in my wallet. Oil plug like most vehicles. Eliminate the crush washer 1 bolt with rubber 0-ring for seal. How bout even a bike to bridge the gap between 865cc and 2300cc? MORE CHROME FEATURES Its like a kid taking his christmas list to santa

50 more horses 6th gear (I've got the 18T, and still want 6th) A much cheaper quiet drive kit with a little higher ratio to boot. How bout even a bike to bridge the gap between 865cc and 2300cc? MORE CHROME FEATURES
I think there's a bike like that coming out soon.

People, people, people, this thread is for items you'd like to see for the America and Speedmaster, NOT THE EFFIN THUNDERBIRD. Take it to other bikes (and see how long that lasts before the name-callin' starts).
Okay, okay, I participated in the digression (look it up), but let's just move forward in the original direction.

Friar John, Sure, no problem. Let me see now. For the America I would like to see the engine increased in size to around 1600 cc's. I would like to see either a shaft drive or belt drive. Water cooled engine. But I would like the profile of the bike to look exactly like my America.

Special device to fire "cell phone seeking projectiles" into passing cars as they turn in front of you and a cleaverly designed "cage death ray" that desintegrate instantly all metalic objects (not hurting the organic) for cars that turn in front of you. and a small 1,000,000 decible blaster that would blast obcenities at cars that turn in front of you.....and a device to hold my Tommy Gun so you could shoot at cars that turn in front of you ....and.............

"A chrome speedo cable retainer to replace the one that always breaks".....Hmmm, Frog now has over 37,000 miles, and the retainer is still in tact...You have to make sure the cable is centered (not touching) the retainer...Kimmy's was already broke when we bought her bike...

It's not much of a retainer if it can't actually touch what it's supposed to be retaining, is it?

I'm not going back through this whole thread to check if this has been posted before. I want a kit for an oil bag style battery box like Grazuh's:
x2 : Sounds great to me, there is also so much unused storage space in that area that could be useful (the Freak toolbox is too small and takes too long to remove anyway)
TBA, Stainless extractors / drag pipes, 65mm over forward controls, Thruxton needles, 904cc, head ported, lowered 1-inch, Console removed, relocated battery box, Australia.

I'd love to see an classy, aftermarket, direct bolt on replacement for that cheap, plastic POS instrument panel. It could even be an exact copy as long as it's made out of good old fashioned, honest to goodness metal. A decent selection of finishes wouldn't hurt either...
+1 on the extended fwd. control option too!

+1 on sixth gear and a better key position. also a windshield that give some actual protection and doesn't cause ridiculous amounts of buffeting. Are you listening Memphis Shades how bout a mount kit for the memphis slims, I've tried every possible combo using parts from various kits we had laying around the shop(Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki) nothing gets the angle right. The shield looks great on the bike ( The fats is illuminated by the front signals/ running lights and is unsafe after dark)but no combo of available mounts will angle it correctly.

There are some HD rods that will work, I measured them but forget what ones they were.
My wish would be a replacement head with cam bearings so the bearings can be changed out instead of tossing the whole head in the scrap heap.

An extended cables kit so you can add Ape hangers or other high handlebars.
A different petrol tank that looks like a Bonneville tank (that dosn't have the idiot lights console) that fits straight on without too much modification.

You should extend the forward controls 2" instead, then you will still be able to reach the handlebars. Worked great for me and I'm over 6'3.

bar end led, and red cat eye led turn signal from bellacoarse. tps eliminator kit. battery box relocation kit from the guy on here with one of those etched brass covers. an old school king and queen two up seat with a tall sissy bar.

If you go with twin miniguns, you would have to add a sidecar for the ammo, but it sure would come in handy over here, too.

Wrong bike for that. I have a mate who's got a Royal Enfield 406cc diesel, reckons he gets 170mpg (that's Imperial gallons!)
