For a long time, there was an 'urban legend' about how Starbucks corporate didn't support the troops deployed to OIF and OEF. While I was in the sandbox, our unit recieved several CARE packages from individual Starbucks store employees with WAY more coffee and supplies than we could ever drink. Maybe Starbucks corporate HQ didn't get directky involved, but I will NOT denigrate Starbucks, simply because of the generosity of SOMEONE who thought enough of us to take the time and effort to send us something which took the edge off our not being at home.
