Errrr... Um... Uh... Neat, and definately fast, but I have concerns about that whole "turning" thing, y'know? (Though after seeing the "Carver" post in the Lounge... hey, might work.)

I was involved in a charity ride for "Camp Quality" not long back - involved me on my TBA, a guy on an HD (dunno what sort, generic HD ) and seven trikes. These were all purpose built trikes with 1600cc - 2000cc VW engines in the backs, not modified bikes. One of the guys (absolute lunatic) took me for a ride on his trike and I almost had to change my underwear after it - those things can turn like mad! Unlike modified bikes the purpose built ones have all the weight at the back and can out-corner and out-accellerate a sports bike.
As an aside, I swapped bikes with the HD rider for about 20 miles - my first time on a HD and the worst experience of my life. A bit after we swapped back he pulled up next to me and yelled "after 10 minutes on your bike I can't ride mine anymore!"... I yelled back "That's ok, I couldn't ride yours anymore either!"

Hey Matt, were those Nova Trikes? I used to want a VW-powered trike really bad and may still someday build one (I've got a 2.0 Porsche 914 engine that will need a home someday). I don't like the original 70's style, super-stretched VW trikes but those cruiser-styled Nova trikes are pretty nice. Anyway, I have more pictures of what I call freaks'o'nature on my site.
