Earnies has reopended, Guess the proper palms have been greased.

By way of appologising to their customers, they are running
50 cents off drinks untill July 19th. The tightazzes have lost this round.

Its just a local dive, that got temporarly and qustionably closed, becuse the yuppies did not like the crowd it drew into town. Mostly HD riders with loud pipes.Distrubed the quiet.

Sounds like some of your neighbors are due for the old "flaming bag of dog poo" treatment.

Cheers, Sid

If I ever see a bunch of Beemers lined up outside an establishment, I might drive into the ditch straight away.....-->

I lived next to such an establishment. At 3 a.m. everyone in the place felt that it was their god given right to burn tire for the first 50 feet when leaving the parking lot. Either that or scream profanity for 10 minutes in the parking lot before leaving. So I understand what 20 drunken jerks with straight pipes just naturally have to do also. The public has to get up at 5 am to go to work. Now ladies, what do you think of that side of the story. Naturally I'll expect this comment to be deleted by noon. As usual.

I too have lived across the street from a bar and it's all about moderation. One of my neighbors would call the police every night at 10 to have them go over to the bar and tell them to turn the music down. It's a bar! And the music wasn't that loud; from inside is was just a faint "thump, thump". Wimp. Still, the bar has the responsability to not get too carried away. If there's halfway decent law enforcement to keep the patrons at a reasonable level after close then all should be good.

It's all take and give. A bar is a party place no doubt, but does need to maintain some control. If you don't like it, shouldn't have moved next to a bar.

In my neck of the woods, these guys are called "credit card bikers"---fake weekend 1%ers---um, no need to be loud whilst leave'n a water'n hole at 3am---most of us try to slip away as quietly as possible, so's not to attract any undue attention
